Microterritorios is a contemporary art studio that transforms landscapes and lived experiences into art pieces. Through jewelry and textile works, it explores the dialogue between territory, memory and identity.

Microterritorios was conceived and founded by multidisciplinary artist Emilia Saez. What began as a personal artistic exploration has grown into a collaborative project, working alongside specialists from diverse fields.

Each piece is inspired by real landscapes — mountains, cities, coastlines, maps, topographies — and by the personal journeys that shape who we are.

Yes. All pieces are handmade in our studio, whether in silver or textile. Each process involves manual techniques that preserve material sensitivity and individuality.

Production is intentionally limited. We create in small batches, and many works — especially custom pieces — are developed individually to preserve their conceptual and material integrity.

Each piece begins with research and conceptual development rooted in landscape and memory. Depending on the collection, the process may involve sculpting, casting, embroidery or textile composition, followed by detailed hand-finishing.

Our jewelry is primarily crafted in 925-stearling silver or bronze depending on each piece.

Solid silver and bronze are generally hypoallergenic and suitable for most skin types. However, individual sensitivities may vary.

Silver may naturally oxidize with time and exposure to air if not wear regularly. This is a normal process and can be easily polished if desired.

To preserve the longevity of your piece, we recommend avoiding direct contact with water and other liquids whenever possible. Although solid silver is resistant, prolonged exposure to moisture, perfumes, sweat, cleaning agents or bath products may affect its surface over time.

For storage, keep each piece separately in a soft fabric pouch or in its original box, away from other metals, to prevent scratches or damage.

Use a soft cloth and, if needed, a silver cleaning cloth. Avoid abrasive products.
